Lately I've been getting a lot of traffic on this blog through search keywords like "vote none of the above" or "boycott canada election" and etc. So I thought I'd share this bit of info I came across.
It concerns rejecting your ballot and having it count as a protest vote. Although federally this won't work, in some provinces you can arrive at the polling station, get your ballot, and then return it before going anywhere. The person behind the desk has to mark you down as having "refused" to vote. Apparently, if enough people do that then a by-election is called.
