Are border controls restitution because the state owes us?
We are, after all, victims of taxation, and prohibited use on “public property” can constitute a form of restitution. Since we all have to pay taxes, so goes the argument, we’re owed something by the state as victims.
Namely, fewer immigrants.
It always sounded a little leftist to me.
